Seahawks snap counts for Thursday’s preseason victory over the Raiders

The Seattle Seahawks completed their final preseason game with a 17-15 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Neither team played any of their expected starters, as this game was a last chance for many of the players on the roster bubble to fight for their spot.

As such, the players who played the most are the guys who are right on that bubble, as the coaches wanted to see them more than anyone else.

Here is a look at the snap counts on offense, defense and special teams for Seattle’s game on Thursday.

Marcus Martin, Landon Turner and Jordan Roos played the entire game – as the Seahawks are very injured on the offensive line right now.

Both Martin and Roos have a decent chance of making the roster – or at least the practice squad for Roos – so long as Mike Iupati, Jordan Simmons, Joey Hunt, Phil Haynes, George Fant and Jamarco Jones are still hurt.

Gary Jennings got significantly more snaps than the rest of the receivers, but he was unable to haul in any receptions and instead committed an unnecessary roughness penalty as a member of the special teams. His roster spot is very insecure at this point.

Defensively, safety Shalom Luani and defensive tackles Bryan Mone and Jamie Meder played over 70% of the game. All three are solid candidates for either a roster spot or a spot on the practice squad.

Ben Burr-Kirven was the MVP in this game, recording 12 combined tackles and a sack in 56 snaps, just about two-thirds of the game.

Seattle has less than 24 hours to make their roster cuts, and Thursday’s game made a lot of their decisions even tougher than they already were.
