To make room for Nkemdiche on the 53-man squad, Seattle waived quarterback Jake Luton.

The Seahawks also pulled off a couple of practice squad moves as well, signing tight end Jace Sternberger and releasing wide receiver Connor Wedington, wide receiver De’Quan Hampton and tight end Michael Jacobson.

The Seahawks have an off day Tuesday but return to the practice field Wednesday morning.
