Seahawks should see return of a few players to practice this week

The Seattle Seahawks should see the return of at least a couple of players this week as they prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road next Sunday.

Guard Mike Iupati and L.J. Collier are both expected to resume full practice.

“Mike and L.J. will both practice in the normal fashion coming back this week and we’ll see what happens,” coach Pete Carroll said Monday. “L.J. hasn’t taken any team reps yet in practice last week. Mike had a little bit so, Mike’s a little bit ahead of him. They’re not comparable at all, they’re in their own unique situations but both guys have a chance to play this time around, so we’ll see how that goes.”

Iupati was actually active Sunday against the Bengals and saw one offensive snap on the field. Collier, who has been battling an ankle sprain since the start of camp, is finally easing back into the workload.

The Seahawks have an off day Tuesday but resume practice on Wednesday.
