Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny will be game-day decision

Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny will be a game-day decision Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals, listed as questionable to play on the injury report.

Penny suffered a hamstring injury late last week and was inactive for the Saints matchup. He was held out of practice Wednesday but did return in a limited fashion on Thursday.

“He worked through practice today so he’s going in questionable and we’ve got to get to game time to see what happens,” coach Pete Carroll told reporters after Friday’s walkthrough. “He had a good week in preparation for it and – he didn’t get to work every day this week – but he did finish out the week going, so that was a good sign.

“He said he feels pretty good, he’s dying to play.”

With Chris Carson’s recent troubles as far as fumbles lost, a healthy Penny could take advantage of the opportunity to prove his ball-handling skills.

The Seahawks and Cardinals are set to kick off at 1:05 p.m. PT in Arizona on Sunday.
