Seahawks right guard D.J. Fluker ready to go Week 8 against Falcons

The Seattle Seahawks have been down two starting offensive linemen over the last couple of weeks. Left tackle Duane Brown has missed the last two outings with a biceps injury. Right guard D.J. Fluker, who was active against the Ravens but saw few snaps, has been hindered lately by his hamstring.

Fluker is now ready to roll and healthy to face the Falcons Week 8 in Atlanta.

“We love the fact that D.J. is back,” coach Pete Carroll said during his Wednesday press conference. “He was back last week to be an emergency player. This week he’s ready to play football and he can go. It worked out great at that spot and it just makes us better.”

Brown has been day to day to start the week but is pushing to return to the lineup. Carroll said he will monitor Brown’s participation closely before making a decision for a game day. He is expected to get some practice in on Wednesday.

The practice participation report will be released later in the afternoon.
