Seahawks host cornerback Sean Bunting on a top 30 visit

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to address their secondary in some capacity during the NFL Draft, which is set to begin next Thursday, April 25.

One player that has often been linked to Seattle thanks to his length is Central Michigan cornerback Sean Bunting. Seattle confirmed their interest by scheduling a top 30 visit with him, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.

Bunting is expected to go in the third or fourth round. We had him mocked to Seattle at No. 84 overall in our first Seahawks mock draft of the season, citing his length, athleticism and elite top speed, as evidenced by his 4.42 40-yard dash time at the combine.

Bunting could immediately come into camp and compete for a starting job for Seattle, pushing both Shaquill Griffin and Tre Flowers for their spots.

He may need to add some muscle to really excel at the NFL level, but the tools are there for him to be an impact contributor in Seattle’s new age secondary.
