Seahawks G Gabe Jackson accidentally labeled ‘rookie’ by Fox broadcast

With a game like this, you have to take what pleasures you can.

Seahawks fans probably got a chuckle out of an error on Fox’s pre-game broadcast, which accidentally listed right guard Gabe Jackson as a rookie.

Jackson is nearing the end of his eighth season in the NFL.

Our best guess is they meant to highlight right tackle Jake Curhan, the only rookie up front today. Curhan has struggled in pass protection but has performed well as a run blocker and may have a path to start in 2022 with Brandon Shell set to become a free agent.
