Seahawks CB Tre Brown prides himself on his special-teams play

The Seattle Seahawks selected a cornerback with the No. 137 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. But the former Oklahoma Sooner, Tre Brown, wants to prove he’s the full package.

For the Sooners last season, Brown logged three interceptions and six pass breakups, earning himself a second-team All-Big 12 selection. He was also named to the second-team All-Big 12 for his kick-returning efforts in 2018.

Speaking to the media via Zoom shortly after his selection, Brown told reporters he prides himself on his special-teams play.

“Every time I get out here I’m going to try to destroy you, be the fastest guy out there and just make those plays,” Brown said. “So I pride myself on special teams just like defense.”

For more on Brown, take a look at his college highlights and scouting report.
