Seagull eats LIVE pigeon in front of horrified restaurant diners

This is the horrific moment a seagull ate a pigeon alive in front of shocked diners.

Model Adam Phillips, who was visiting his home town of Cornwall this week, was shocked to see a seagull chomping down on the live pigeon while he was dining at Rockfish restaurant in Barbican, Plymouth on Tuesday.

He whipped out his phone to take a video of the harrowing incident before the seagull flew away, Cornwall Live reports.

Adam said: "It literally ripped it apart and flew away with it!

"It was over the other side of the bridge by Rockfish restaurant. I was eating in there and it was just outside the window.

"The seagull had a black mark on its face.

"I'm on my way back to London now. Was a nice few days in Plymouth seeing a pigeon get ripped apart by a seagull."

In June last year, horrifying footage emerged of a seagull eating a live pigeon in Bath.

Stephen Newall who witnessed the incident recorded the attack on his phone.

He said at the time: “It was eating the pigeon alive. The creatures are often attacking other animals and even swoop down on tourists on occasion.”

Seagulls are known to eat fish, insects, earthworms and rubbish - but sometimes take birds as their prey.

In 2016, sickening footage of a seagull attacking a pigeon was captured at a train station in Bristol.

Commuters were stunned to see the vicious gull swoop down on a pigeon, who frantically flapped its wings in a bid to escape.

The pigeon fell on the train tracks and was run over by an oncoming train, and the savage seagull continued pecking at the bird's dismembered body.
