Sead Kolasinac has broken his silence after being dubbed a hero for fighting off two attackers who tried to carjack Mesut Ozil in north London.
In a video that emerged online, the Arsenal defender can be seen jumping out of his teammate's vehicle to confront their pursuers as the German ran for safety in a nearby restaurant in Golders Green.
According to the Mail , staff from local establishments responded to the incident to help drive away the attackers.
The actions of Kolasinac have attracted widespread plaudits for his bravery in such circumstances, with many crediting him for his leadership and willingness to help his friend and teammate.
Taking to social media, Kolasinac shared an image of him with Ozil, which simply said: "Think we're fine".

There's no doubting that Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil were lucky to escape from the incident unscathed.
A witness of the event told the Mail, "Ozil looked absolutely terrified, as anybody would after being chased by men with knives.
"He looked like he was running for his life. And I suppose he was."

A spokesperson for Arsenal said: "We have been in contact with both players and they are fine."
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "It was reported that suspects on motorbikes had attempted to rob a man who was driving a car.
"The driver, along with his passenger, managed to get away unharmed and travelled to a restaurant in Golders Green, where they were spoken to by officers."
Kolasinac and Ozil are not the first London-based footballers to be targeted by criminals on the road.
In 2016, former West Ham striker Andy Carroll was threatened at gunpoint on his way home from training.
