Emergency services rushed to the Sea Walls in Bristol today (November 2) following a report of concern for a climber. Police and fire crews were called to the scene in Clifton at around 12.45pm.
A member of the public reported the climber amid concern for their welfare. Avon and Somerset Police attended the scene and located the man who was safe and well.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Emergency services attended the Sea Walls, Bristol, after a member of the public reported concern for the welfare of a man seen climbing.

"The call came in at about 12.45pm today, Wednesday 2 November. Police and fire crews located the man, a rock climber, safe and well by 2pm.
"Officers are grateful to the member of the public who did the right thing by reporting their concerns."
