Sea shanty chart-topper Nathan Evans has asked fans for inspiration so he can write a bespoke shanty for them
The former postman, became a global sensation with his sea shanty Tik Tok's and quit his job after he was signed by Polydor.
The 26-year-old recently bought his first home after achieving chart success with his catchy songs.
He has recently announced more tour dates for his shows at Glasgow's King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in December.
He told fans: "I wanted to do a little competition. I'll be writing a sea shanty for you or one of your mates."
Referring to his Instagram biography he added: "Click the link in bio and suggest a couple of words and ill try and write something and see what I can come up with."
Nathan wrote a bespoke Sea Shanty for Kelly Clarkson when he appeared on her US TV show and now he's keen to work on some lyrics that are closer to home.
Following his request some fans have already submitted some ideas.
Those so far include Rangers fans who have written words like '55'.
Others have asked for songs about lockdown, an appreciation of work by nurses and a song about homelessness.
Nathan who recently moved into his first ever home with his wife, meantime showed a picture of a plane wing in his latest socials as he admitted he was jetting off again for a work commitment.
In addition to the two gigs at King Tuts, one of which still has limited availability, tickets for his newly announced shows at Edinburgh Caves December 13 and Aberdeen Tunnel's December 16 went on sale today.
