Sea Shanty singer Nathan Evans tells Lorraine he's 'Off to his bed' after earning enough cash for dream home

Scots postie turned Sea Shanty singer Nathan Evans told Lorraine Kelly he was 'Off to his bed' after earning enough cash to buy his dream home.

And he revealed he'll be getting to follow one of his passions as he does the live draw for the Scottish Football Association.

Nathan who has been flying high in the charts and appeared on US telly including the Kelly Clarkson and Saturday Night Live following his Tik Tok cover of Sea Shanty Wellerman, admitted he was tired out after a crazy last few months of promo for the song.

The Airdie lad who appeared on Ant and Dec on Saturday told Lorraine Kelly: 'I'll probably go to my bed next. Since the last time we spoke there's a quite a bit changed. It's everything. I'm still living a dream. It's ridiculous. Every day I wake up and there's something new and I'm just like what is going on. I've asked myself that now for about three months."

Nathan who is married to primary school teacher Holly, 26 who he has been with for ten years added: 'Holly my wife she is absolutely buzzing for me. She misses me when I go away. We are eventually getting that house that we were saving up to buy, so everything is falling into place."

Nathan revealed he has a new single in next couple of months, an album at the end of the year, a UK tour in December, and European tour in January .

He added excitedly: "I got a call the other day from the Scottish Football Association asking me to do fourth and fifth round cup draws as well - that's a big thing for me as well. I'm a big football fan."

Speaking of his Ant and Dec appearance with Brian May on Guitar he added : " I didn't ever think he'd be in my band. He's quite a good guitarist to have. If I was having anybody I"d probably pick Brian May."
