Sculpture in the City: London's contemporary art playground

Back for its 11th edition, Sculpture in the City is one of London's annual traditions for art lovers.

The initiative turns the capital into an urban sculpture park, placing large contemporary works within the Square Mile - all free to visit.

New works on show from eleven artists - including the likes of Emma Louise Moore, Ugo Rondinone and Sarah Lucas - will be joined by six sculptures that remain from the 10th edition alongside two permanent acquisitions.

Co-founder Stella Ioannou says the Square Mile can feel "quite sterile and inhuman" and "the art brings a human element."
