Scuba diver dances with shark in mall aquarium in front of shocked shoppers

This is the bizarre moment a scuba diver is dancing with a shark in an aquarium.

Shoppers at Neptune mall in St Petersburg, Russia, were shocked when they saw the apex predator floating in an upright position while seemingly dancing with the scuba diver.

The well-trained scuba diver can be seen holding onto the shark's fin and touching its back while leading the dance with a gentle swing to the left then the right.

The pair even perform a beautiful turn by the fish tank window.

The footage, which was taken on October 27, showed the pair enjoying the graceful moment underwater.

The Planet Neptune Oceanarium opened in 2006 and was billed as 'the first Oceanarium in Russia'.

With 33 aquariums in display, it is the home of nearly 150 species of fish, sea mammals and other sea creatures.

Organisers also host regular shows such as 'Feeding The Seals' and 'The Shark Show'.

An on-site diving club with scuba divers can also provide dive training courses in the Oceanarium.
