When and if Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on his investigation into the administration of President Donald Trump becomes available, Scribner and the Washington Post will team to publish it immediately in book form.
The publisher and the newspaper announced last week that The Mueller Report will be released "instantly" in paperback and e-book formats. The book will also include analysis based on the Post's Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the investigation, the special counsel's most pertinent filings (including criminal indictments), a timeline of significant events and a cast of the investigation's key figures.
Scribner will also release an audiobook later.
When Special Counsel Kenneth Starr completed his four-year investigation of President Bill Clinton in 1998, his entire 445-page report was uploaded to the internet. According to a CNN report, 20 million Americans _ 12 percent of the population _ went online to access the document at the same time.
