MYSURU: A journalist working with an Urdu newspaper was mobbed allegedly by protesters seeking action against Nanjangud taluk officers in the recent temple demolition case, in Mysuru on Thursday.
Sources said police who were at the spot shifted the journalist to safety.
He filed a complaint late in the evening.
The Mysuru District Journalists’ Association condemned the incident and sought protection for media persons covering sensitive events.
