Screw Waiting to Cross Train Tracks, Just Put Your Motorcycle On Your Shoulders and Walk

We've all been there. We arrive at a train crossing, the lights flicker on, the arms go down to block going across, and we put our motorcycles or cars into Park to wait for the train to pass. Minutes tick by, we scroll our phones, we change the song on the radio, or we twiddle with something in the car. No horn pierces the silence, though.

We wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. The line behind us, as well as that of in front, continues to grow ever longer. It's here when an irritating thought enters your brain: What if I just went around the arms?

This, however, isn't the best idea. We've all seen the highlight reels on the nightly news. We've seen the Instagram Reels and TikToks and all manner of Rules of the Road-produced "Don't ever cross train tracks when the lights are flashing and the arms are down!" videos. When you do, you often lead yourself into a situation that puts your life, as well as those on the train, at risk. And I don't know if you know this, but a car or motorcycle ain't gonna win against a train.

But what if you can see for miles in both directions? What if the local laws allow you to walk across the train tracks, but not ride or drive, when the lights are on and the arms are down? What happens when nothing's coming and you're just sitting on your motorcycle? Easy, just deadlift the damn thing, put it onto your shoulders, and walk across without a care in the world.

What we have here is a hero, plain and simple. The man, clearly annoyed with the tracks being blocked, traffic piling up, and no train in sight, basically just picks up his motorcycle, throws the entire thing onto his shoulder, and then walks across the tracks like this is something he does every single day. I mean, the dude doesn't even look like he's straining under the weight of what can only be a 300-pound bike.

I've got no further context for who this person is, though it looks like he's somewhere in India based on the writing I can see throughout the video, but that's about it. Moreover, the guy does this all in sandals. Imagine any of the Western powerlifters trying to deadlift anything in anything other than powerlifting shoes. Ha, they wouldn't.

Here's where I'll add a safety caveat to this entire video, because as cool as this dude is for finding the loophole in the system, as I mentioned earlier, this sort of behavior often leads you to ending up on the news, and not in the way this guy is. And you'll likely find yourself in the hospital at best, in jail or dead at worst.

So kudos to this dude, but maybe don't try this at home...
