A man has been caught on camera wielding a machete-like knife and chasing a gang of youths down a residential street in broad daylight.
The terrifying footage shows around seven people sprinting away from the screaming man.
Some appear to be holding bats or similar weapons in the clip, with the incident unfolding at roughly 3pm yesterday.
The chase down Cherrywood Road in Bordesley Green, in Birmingham, prompted calls to the police, however the group had already dispersed by the time officers arrived.
Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage to determine exactly what happened during the incident and identify the people involved, according to reports from Birmingham Live.

Those watching the video online expressed dismay, especially over weapons on the local streets.
"So many of our youth are seriously messed up," commented one local.
Another called it "pathetic and shameful".

"These bunch of youths should be all locked up," said another. "They have no shame no respect at all."
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a disorder involving about seven young men in Cherrywood Road, Birmingham at about 3pm on Saturday.
"Officers attended but the men had left and no weapons were found or injuries reported to us.
“CCTV footage is being reviewed as our enquiries continue."
