Two teenage girls were filmed fighting in front of a crowd as onlookers screamed "wig her now" and "get her down".
The clip, which was apparently filmed on the New Brighton Promenade, shows two girls fighting with each other.
They can be seen grappling and punching as another group watches on.
But instead of trying to calm the situation, onlookers encourage them to fight even more.
At one point, a third person intervenes and drags the blonde girl by her hair after she was knocked to the floor.
She then encourages the other girl to kick her in the head, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The video seems to end when the two attackers run off, leaving the girl with blonde hair on the floor.
A person who watched clip branded the girls as "savage" and "uncaring", saying: "What is wrong with people these days so savage and uncaring no respect for anyone or anything disgusting."
Another added: "The fist fighting, hair pulling and wrestling on the the ground is all unacceptable, but my heart is in my mouth when I see someone's head being kicked like a football, the risk of brain damage or a fatality is extremely high.
"Equally some deaths have occurred from even one punch in a street fight. I hope the girl is OK."
One more person said: "Disgusting and people egging them on and recording are no better, this is happening more and more and won't stop until someone gets hurt to the point they are no longer with us."
The Mirror has contacted Merseyside Police for comment.
