Screaming child interrupts Starmer’s speech in Northern Ireland

  • Addressing a crowd at the Atlas Women's centre in Lisburn, the prime minister joked, "I'm nearly finished" in response to the interruption.
  • He was accompanied by Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Hilary Benn during his visit to the centre.
  • Following his engagement in Lisburn, Sir Keir travelled to Co Cork.
  • In Co Cork, he met with Irish premier Micheal Martin at a summit of senior British and Irish ministers.
