Scrambler yob invited to 'enter Britain's Got Talent' after wheelie stunts

A scrambler bike yob was "invited to enter Britain's Got Talent" by police in a tongue-in-cheek post.

Lancashire Police officers in Skelmersdale are keen to speak to a man pictured performing wheelies on the footpath by the Concourse in the town.

Posting on Facebook, one officer suggested the man may need help filling in the application forms for the Simon Cowell ITV talent show and encouraged him to get in touch.

The post, on the Skelmersdale Police website, said: "Britain's got talent entry.

"This talented gentleman has been doing wheelies daily on the footpath near the concourse in Skelmersdale.

"If you know who he is email me at 7572@lancashire.pnn.police.uk because I'd like to make sure he gets his application forms for Britain's got talent filled out.

"Do your thing Skelmersdale. Let's make this man famous, as I'm sure that's what he's looking for!"

The post was accompanied by a picture of the man mid-wheelie on a red and white motorbike, wearing grey shorts and a black coat.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can contact police by emailing 7750@lancashire.police.uk or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
