Scousers share why they're proud to be from Liverpool

Being from Liverpool is something to be proud of.

The city has long been known known around the world for its music, culture, football and iconic waterfront.

But one thing that people never forget after visiting the city are the people.

Scousers stick together through the toughest of times and are renowned for their great sense of humour.

To celebrate the things that make the city so great, we asked our readers - why are you proud to be from Liverpool? Here's what you had to say.

Bernadette Ekberg said: "So proud to be a Liverpudlian. The city pulls together, people look after each other, because of this they are moving into Tier Two. Well done Liverpool, my hometown, the best. xx"
