Scouse The Chase contestant has catchphrase which comes back to bite him

A Scouse contestant on The Chase was left embarrassed today after his catchphrase came back to bite him.

Jack, 20, was proud of his Bootle origins and also said he was a huge Liverpool FC fan.

The aircraft engineering student at Salford University and had dreams of becoming a pilot.

He also said he played table tennis for uni and wanted to spend his winnings on flying lessons.

Jack was seat three, but encouraged his team members before him, telling them to go for the higher offer, ending his advice each time with the catchphrase "One team, One dream."

But when it came to his turn to face The Beast Jack faltered, after previously getting £4,000 in his cash builder.

Things initially went well for Jack, however it wasn't to be and he was eventually eliminated over a question about European Empires.

Chase fans were quick to comment on his catchy turn of phrase.

One said: "One team one dream what with 2k eejit."

Another said: "Has someone really just said “ one team, one dream “ ??"

And a third said: " did he just said one team one dream??? Wow."

And the official Chase account noticed Jack's phrase, saying: "One team. One dream (heart emoji) "
