The buyers on today's episode of A Place in the Sun provided the "easiest search ever".
Liverpool couple Paul and Nicola first fell in love with the island of Lanzarote nearly 20 years ago while on holiday with their three sons. They’ve been back countless times and with Paul’s retirement looming they decided to buy a holiday home in the seaside town of Puerto del Carmen.
With a budget of £180,000, the couple enlisted Ben Hillman to help them on their search. The house hunters hoped for a property with one to two bedrooms, a pool and some outdoor space.

Before even entering the first property, Nicola joked that they were "sold" on the home. It was a one-bed Bungalow in Matagorda, on the market for £150,893.
They stood outside, by the communal pool, as Ben said: "Guys, welcome to Matagorda." Nicola replied: "This is the best place in Puerto del Carmen."
The host laughed as he said: "I love it." Nicola said: "Sold!" Ben joked: "You know that's probably the easiest property search I've ever had."
The buyer explained: "This is where we stay. We've stayed in Matagorda, we've stayed in so many different places in Matagorda. This is fantastic."
The house hunters said that they know the area very well and feel very comfortable there. The property also had a pool and palm trees as the couple had asked for.
They went on to tell Ben that the home was definitely a contender. For the rest of their search they would like more outdoor space to take it up a notch, but they were definitely pleased from the get-go.
