One of the worst places to just have a phone out and about is on a boat. Chris Godwin found that out the hard way on Wednesday during the Buccaneer’s Super Bowl parade.
He was on a boat with the rest of the Bucs’ receivers including Mike Evans and Scotty Miller. And he’d passed his phone to Miller, who apparently just dropped it into the water.
That’s right. Godwin’s phone is sitting at the bottom of Tampa Bay right now, according to NFL Network’s Sara Walsh. Chilling. Because Scotty Miller, who caught one of the Bucs’ most important touchdowns during their Super Bowl run, dropped it in the water.
Hilarious.

Hopefully, Verizon hooks that man up. Just an absolutely tragic (and completely hilarious) situation.
