Scottish Water is advising road users of a road closure in Uddingston on Monday, March 23.
It will last for one day to enable improvements to Scottish Water infrastructure in the area.
The closure of a section of Bellshill Road will enable contractors Kier to carry out manhole improvement work for the utility.
A diversion route will be in place from Bellshill Road close to the junction of Gray’s Road to New Edinburgh Road and Glasgow Road (B7071).
Road traffic management has been arranged in liaison with South Lanarkshire Council.
Scottish Water thank affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding while this essential work is carried out.
