SCOTTISH Water has apologised after a burst water main disrupted supply in Clacks at the weekend.
The issue was located near Dollar Lodge and Holiday Home Park, which caused interruptions in the supply for customers in Dollar and Coalsnaughton.
Around 1,300 homes experienced some form of disruption as a result of the burst with repairs carried out on Saturday evening.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "We repaired a burst on a 12 inch water main near the Dollar Lodge and Holiday Home Park which caused interruptions to supply for some customers in the Dollar FK14 and Coalsnaughton FK13 areas.
"Approximately 1,300 customers experienced some degree of interruption to their normal supply in the west area of Dollar, Dollarbank, Lower Mains and surrounding area.
"Water was tankered into the network to help maintain customers' water supplies in the wider area and bottled water was provided for customers on our priority services register.
"Repairs were completed late Saturday evening and all supplies were restored.
"We apologise to all our customers impacted and thank them for their patience."
