Scottish TikTok left in stitches after 'words Scots can't pronounce' challenge

Us Scots really are the best people - even if we may be a little bias.

But when it comes to TikTok, we might also take the crown for creating some of the best content.

And we're not the only ones who think so.

People have been taking to the social media video app for a while now and posting content about their accents with one challenge making Scots go viral leaving people in stitches and falling in love with our accent.

The idea behind this latest challenge is that people - namely Scots - read words out loud and try to pronounce them without messing up.

But it's not as straight-forward as it seems with many Scottish folk struggling with some common words.

Taking to TikTok, thousands of people have recorded themselves attempt the challenge with Julie - also known as @weejulietots - the latest to take it on.

So what are the words appearing in the challenge?

In response to the three part TikTok videos one user said: "I didn’t struggle to say them before this but now I do."

Another yelled: "GOSH I LOVE SCOTTISH ACCENT"

A third said: "Omg you had me messing up saying them and I’m an American."
