Scottish shop selling full sugar Irn-Bru for £1.50 but you can only buy two

A Falkirk shop is flogging cans of original recipe Irn-Bru for just £1.50 - but you can only buy TWO.

Day Today Express store in Stenhousemuir announced they would be selling cans of the full sugar pop on a 'first come first served' basis but each customer would only be permitted to purchase two.

Fans rushed to announce they would be first at the store, but speculated just how much of the 'orange gold' is left in circulation.

Facebook user Gary Currington joked: "How many times is it going to be the last of the stock ? I reckon Barr’s are still making it with a false date on it and fleecing everyone."

Others asked if the store could deliver so customers could get their hands on a can.

Stuart Dales complained: "I've yet to be able to get a single can from them cause everyone I'm working."

Liam Rae asked: "How much is shipping on two cans??"

Scots even discussed getting time off work to go and collect their rationed tipple.

Savvy shop keepers have been profiteering from old recipe cans, with customers willing to pay top prices for their favourite drink.

Irn Bru maker Barr first announced in 2018 it would change the formula of the famous orange tipple.

The company have since announced a drop in profits after recipe changes were made to the full sugar products.
