Motherwell are reportedly in talks to sign Celtic defender Stephen Welsh.
The centre-back has yet to feature for the Parkhead club in the new campaign.
And he could now be on the move, with Motherwell hoping to seal a season-long loan deal before tonight's 11pm transfer deadline, according to RecordSport.
It is said that Welsh is keen on the switch because he wants more game time.

Hammarby 'agree' to sell Sebastian Tounekti with Celtic medical set
The 25-year-old has made 68 senior Celtic appearances since emerging from the club's academy during the 2020/21 season.
He has two years left on his current deal at Parkhead.
Welsh might not be the only player to depart Celtic today, with a £3million deal for Yang Hyun-jun to join Birmingham City from the Scottish Premiership champions reportedly close to being agreed.
Adam Idah could also join Swansea City in a £7million switch, with the striker said to have completed a medical. The Welsh side are just waiting on Celtic to rubber-stamp the move.
It remains to be seen what lies in store for the Bhoys regarding incomings.
Kasper Dolberg is believed to favour a return to Ajax over a move to Scotland; meanwhile, wingers Sebastian Tounekti and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi have both been linked, along with Strasbourg striker Sekou Mara.
