FOOTBALL fans have a rare chance to get up close to the UEFA Champions League Trophy at a leading Scottish Nissan dealership.
The Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow Central showroom has been chosen as one of only five sites in the UK to host the iconic silverware during its ongoing European tour.
Transported by a new-generation Juke, the trophy will be at the prominent Japanese marque’s retailer from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, November 30.
With everyone welcome, fans will be able to get their photo taken with the giant cup and take part in the ProPILOT Challenge – testing their sporting skills by shooting footballs into the boot of the Juke.
Before the trophy began its journey around the continent, UEFA events marketing boss Guy-Laurent Epstein said: “The UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour is a unique opportunity for fans across Europe to be part of the competition.
"We are delighted to have Nissan on board, who are showing such a great deal of innovation and are providing such excitement for the fans.”
Nissan Europe's Gareth Dunsmore added: "This Trophy Tour will be also the opportunity for our fans to discover the next generation Nissan Juke. As a mobility partner, we strongly think that our cars can connect the football fans to a better experience.”
