Scottish man charged over £30,000 drug haul after Police Scotland raid on home

A man has been arrested after a police raid on a home uncovered a haul of drugs worth almost £30,000.

Officers executed a search warrant at the property in Rosyth on Friday, August 13, during which Class A and B substances with an estimated value of around £29,000 were retrieved.

Around £8,000 in cash was also taken from the house on Davenport Place as part of Operation Pinnacle - which has so far recovered over £100,000 worth of illicit substances, loose cash and weaponry.

A 30-year-old man has since been charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act, while a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Constable Iain Syme said: “We continue to tackle drug crime within Fife as we understand this is a concern for local communities.

“We rely on information provided to us so that we can continue to target those involved in drug supply and misuse. Anyone with information on drugs crime in their area should report this to us via 101, or to your local police station, so that we can appropriately investigate.”
