A private client specialist has joined Scottish law firm Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie (WJM) as partner.
New appointment Roddy Harrison brings expertise in high level tax and estate planning.
Ranked Band 3 in Chambers, he formerly headed up BTO Solicitors’ private client team for 16 years, before becoming partner at Dentons in 2018.
Ian Macdonald, head of private client at WJM, said: “We’re excited to have Roddy on board – his significant experience in all aspects of private client work make him a fantastic asset to our team.
"The private client and wealth management areas of the business remained strong throughout last year and we look forward to working alongside Roddy as we further strengthen our offering in 2021.”
Harrison said: “Private client work is a major focus for the firm, and I’m very keen to explore new opportunities and continue to grow this side of the business even further.”
He will be principally based in Edinburgh, working with the private client team across WJM’s four other Scottish offices in Glasgow, Dunfermline, Inverness and Dunblane.
