Scottish Junior Cup: Third round draw throws up all-Ayrshire tie

The  draw for the third round of the Macron Scottish Junior Cup has thrown up an-all Ayrshire tie.

Premier Division cracks Beith, who lifted the trophy in 2016, will host Championship side Whitletts when ties are played on Saturday, October 26.

Holders Auchinleck Talbot will be strong favourites to progress at home to Forfar West End.

Last year's beaten finalists Largs will also fancy their chances away to either Maud or Kirrimuir.

Bridge of Don Thistle, who sprung a second round shock against Kilwinning Rangers, take on Ayrshire opposition again when they host Ardrossan Winton Rovers.

Other ties as they affect Ayrshire sides are: Beith v Whitletts; Glenafton v Thorniewood or Banks of Dee; Bridge of Don Thistle v Ardrossan Winton Rovers; Bathgate v Irvine Meadow; Ashfield v Lugar Boswell Thistle; Shotts v Hurlford; Troon v Kilsyth; Auchinleck Talbot v Forfar WE; Dalry v Dundee NE; Kirkcaldy Dysart v Darvel; Gartcairn v Kilbirnie; Shettleston v Kello Rovers; Maud or Kirrimuir v Largs.
