Scottish Junior Cup: Kello Rovers launch commemorative t-shirt after Irvine Meadow giant killing

Kello Rovers have teamed up with an embroiderers to launch a commemorative t-shirt after their Scottish Junior Cup giant killing of Irvine Meadow.

Fans can snap up the black garment, which bears the slogan "9 men went to mow went and mowed the Meadow" now for £10.

League One underdogs Rovers beat top flight Meadow 2-1 in the fifth round of the competition on Saturday, surviving a late onslaught with just nine players after red cards for Robbie Crolley and Liam Fleming.

And Rovers president Mark Keggans was quick off the mark to strike a t-shirt deal with Nith Valley Embroidery of Sanquhar for the shirts.

The Kirkconnel club will receive four pounds for every one sold.

The players will receive a freebie for their heroics courtesy of Nith Valley Embroidery boss Nan McKenzie.
