Scots have backed independence again in the latest in a series of polls suggesting a consistent lead.
Pollsters Survation said the result would be 54-46, not including undecided voters, in a second referendum.
The findings widen the gap from six points to eight points compared with Survation's last poll in September.
With undecided voters included, support for a Yes vote sits around 46% compared with 38% for No.
Scots also showed continued support for the SNP ahead of next year’s Holyrood election.
Nicola Sturgeon's party moved up by a point to 54% in the constituency voting intentions with Conservatives on 19% and Labour at 18% - almost no changed on the previous poll.
The regional list for Holyrood puts the SNP on 43% and Labour at 19% ahaed of Tories on 17%. Greens are on 10% ahead of Lib Dems on just 7%.
If there were a Westminster election tomorrow, the SNP could expect to mop up with 52% support.
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon highlighted the figures on social media, telling her supporters not to take Donald Trump's lead and claim any victory too soon.
She wrote: "As we see playing out in real time in USA, it's votes that count not polls."
