The Scottish Government has issued an apology over the "shambolic" launch of the NHS covid vaccine passport app.
Users of the NHS Scotland Covid Status app were greeted with 'sorry, no match' or 'please try again' matches after it launched at around 5pm on Thursday, however Scots are still experiencing problems today.
People took to social media to complain about the software, while political leaders called for the government to "get a grip".
From 5am today people attending large events and nightclubs will need to show proof they have had two doses of vaccine using the app before they are allowed in.
Following criticism of the launch the government said it was increasing the capacity of the NHS system.

A Scottish Government spokesperson said: “More than 70,000 downloaded the App yesterday.
"This huge demand did mean that some people experienced delays and we are sorry that happened.
"We have now increased the capacity of the NHS systems that sit behind the app – where most of the issues causing delays have occurred – in order to deal with demand and, as a result, we are seeing increasing numbers of people now able to access their records."
The apology came after Jackie Baillie, Scottish Labour's health spokeswoman, said: “The launch of the Covid status app has been a complete shambles.
“I have already been contacted by several constituents complaining that the app crashed on them.
“It is typical of the SNP to rush this out when it clearly doesn’t work.
This is embarrassing for the Scottish Government, they need to get a grip and fix the app urgently.”
Scottish Lib Dems leader Alex Cole-Hamilton said the passport scheme should be stopped.
He added: "The Information Commissioner’s Office says trust is both necessary and key to the success of this scheme. What little confidence existed crumbled last night.
"The launch was shambolic. Thousands of attempts to access Covid ID cards hit the buffers.
"I warned that the IT wouldn’t be ready or up to the job when the First Minister first unveiled this SNP/Green assault on medical privacy. The government has had a litany of tech problems during and before this crisis. Once again it can’t even get the basics right.
"The Information Commissioner should intervene to stop this scheme now."
