The Scottish Government has confirmed no coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours.
A total of 232 new cases of the virus were also recorded overnight, taking the total since the start of the pandemic in March to 223,914.
Currently, there are 104 people in hospital being treated for Covid-19, while 14 people remain in intensive care unit.
2,747,694 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 757,115 have received their second.
The figures mean the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – remains the same as yesterday at 7,642.
Many Scots took to the hills this weekend as travel restrictions were finally lifted.
Car parks at some of the country’s most popular beauty spots and munros were filled as walkers took advantage of their new freedom.
The positive scenes came as virtually all pupils will return to school full time.
Some council areas, such as Fife, are already back from the holidays with the rest returning today.
But ministers and health experts stilled urged caution.
Yesterday, Nicola Sturgeon warned Scotland faces a "big risk" of importing new variants of the coronavirus if restrictions on international travel are lifted too soon.
She admitted lifting travel abroad "too quickly" last year led to a second national lockdown.
