The Scottish Government have confirmed 5 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The latest figures announced this afternoon reveal a further 2,047 positive cases of the virus have been confirmed.
532 people are currently in hospital and 48 are currently in intensive care units.
325,335 Scots have now caught coronavirus since the start of the pandemic with 7,796 deaths recorded.
3,963,502 people have now had their first dose of the vaccine while 2,940,202 have had their second.
The news comes as today we revealed how care worker jobs were advertised by providers in six Scottish local authorities below the real living wage.
Care workers, who were applauded as key workers during the height of the pandemic, have been found to be earning less that £9.50 per hour despite the jobs being in council areas signed up to the Unison ethical charter.
