The Scottish Government has confirmed there were no additional coronavirus deaths reported in Tayside in the last 24 hours.
Data from Public Health Scotland also shows that 213 new cases were recorded overnight in the region.
The area's death toll - composed of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days - currently sits at 741, with no additional deaths recorded.
In total, Tayside has recorded 50,629 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
The latest local vaccination data for Tayside shows that 90% of the over-12 population have received at least one coronavirus vaccination, and 82% have received at least two.
Around 36.9% of the local population has also received a third follow-up "booster" jab.
Across the country, 2,481 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the last day - a total of xx since the pandemic began.
A total of 750 people were in hospital with the virus, with 59 people currently in intensive care.
According to the latest figures for Scotland there were no new deaths recorded, although register offices are generally closed at weekends. In total, 9,478 people have died of the virus nationwide.
Meanwhile, 4,334,698 over-12s - 90.6% of the adult population - have received at least one Covid jab while 3,939,121 (82.4%) have received two.
A total of 1,437,766 people (30.1%) have also received follow-up booster shots.
The latest figures come after the Sunday Mail revealed at the weekend elderly patients were given a salt water solution rather than the Covid vaccine at a 40-bed care home facility in Lanarkshire.
A total of 11 people at the Millbrae Care Home in Coatbridge, which specialises in caring for those with dementia, were wrongly jabbed.
The health board issued an apology but admitted it cannot say how many other “vaccination errors” may have occurred. The Scottish Government confirmed it was aware of the incident.
