The Scottish Government has confirmed that 2 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours with 1,209 new cases identified overnight.
It means the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – is 7,690.
10,137 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 13 June.
There are currently 128 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 12 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic hit stands at 251,911.
To date 3,611,266 people have received their first vaccination with 2,555,308 having a second jab.
