In total, Tayside has recorded 67,998 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
This total is made up of 1,174 cases of the new Omicron variant.

Sadly a further five Covid-confirmed deaths have also been recorded, putting the country's overall death toll from the virus at 9,872
There are currently 1,223 people in Scotland's hospitals being treated for covid with 42 in intensive care.
The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon was set to announce immediate changes to the ten day covid self-isolation period amid concerns about a staff absence crisis.
A source told the Daily Record people who test positive for covid will be able to end self-isolation after seven days - if they have no fever and record two negative lateral flow tests.
A new system will also apply for most close contacts of positive cases, including people in the same households.
Most people in this category will no longer be required to self-isolate and will instead be able to take daily LFTs.
The First Minister will confirm the moves during a virtual statement to Parliament this afternoon.
It is hoped the measure will ease pressure on public services and businesses, which have warned of the impact of the policy on staffing levels.
