Three people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Scottish Government has confirmed.
The latest figures for Scotland also showed that 204 new cases had been identified overnight.
It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 7,640.
There are currently 109 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 18 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic hit stands at 223,261.
To date 2,722,084 people have received their first vaccination with 688,761 having a second jab.
The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon urged Scot be be "careful" as lockdown restrictions were lifted across Scotland today.
The Scottish Government announced on Tuesday that travel restrictions would be lifted earlier than planned to allow people to see their family and friends who may live in different council areas.
Among the other rules changes coming into force today six people from six households will be allowed to meet outdoors.
The warning came as the SNP leader said she is "really looking forward" to seeing her parents for the first time since Christmas, nearly four months, later today.
Sturgeon said it was a positive step the country was taking out of lockdown, but warned her fellow Scots to not take any unnecessary risks.
