The Scottish Government has confirmed that one person has died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 3,077 new cases had also been identified overnight.
It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 9,389.
There are currently 765 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 56 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 683,530.
To date 4,327,340 people have received their first vaccination with 3,924,870 having a second jab and 1,183,769 having a third "booster".

The figures come as an expert on Covid stated that he doesn't believe the UK will need additional restrictions this Christmas.
Professor Neil Ferguson, a member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage), believes it is "unlikely" the UK will see a "catastrophic winter wave" similar to that seen last year.
Prof Ferguson, who helped instigate the UK's first coronavirus lockdown, said he "very much" hopes we will avoid similar lockdowns due to having higher levels of Covid immunity and a strong booster vaccination programme.
The academic has also voiced his support for the booster jags being rolled out to younger age groups, once the most vulnerable have been given top-up vaccinations, in order to slow transmission.
He said modelling from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has indicated that expanding eligibility for the booster shots could help "drive down transmission to low levels".
