The Scottish Government has confirmed that no people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours,
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 2,297 new cases had also been identified overnight.
It means the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – remains the same at 8,792 .
While reporting zero cases overnight - the Government stressed that Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend.
There are currently 933 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 56 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 592,721.
To date 4,261,124 people have received their first vaccination with 3,864,670 having a second jab.

The figures come as holiday and travel rules change from today with 47 countries removed from the red list.
This means that arrivals from the specified countries will no longer need to spend 11 nights in a quarantine hotel as of 4am.
Meanwhile non-essential travel advice to a further 42 countries and territories due to the coronavirus pandemic has been lifted.
The changes mean that it will now be easier for people to obtain travel insurance to the destinations removed from the red list.
