The Scottish Government has reported that no people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 1,760 new cases had also been identified overnight.
It means the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – remains the same at 8,666.
While recording zero deaths, the government highlighted the fact that Register Offices are now "generally closed at weekends."
There are currently 1,001 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 67 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 575,230.
To date 4,217,940 people have received their first vaccination with 3,847,118 having a second jab.
The figures come as travel rules are changing from today, with the traffic light list system scrapped in a major shake-up for holidaymakers.
From Monday, October 4 at 4am, there will be a new, simplified system in place in the UK for international travel.
The old traffic light system is being ditched, with the amber and green lists axed to make way for 'rest of the world' territories people are allowed to visit.
There will also be a fresh update on the red list this week - with reports claiming it could be slashed from 54 countries to just nine.
Fully-vaccinated travellers will also be subject to new testing rules as measures ease.
