The Scottish Government has confirmed that 27 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
It brings the death toll since the start of the pandemic under this measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 10,149.
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 8,262 new cases had also been identified overnight.
There are currently 1,514 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 43 being treated in intensive care.
So far, 4,402,666 people have received their first vaccination with 4,094,680 having a second jab and 3,230,767 receiving a third dose or booster.
The figures come as more Covid restrictions will be lifted next week amid claims Scotland has ‘turned a corner’ in the Omicron wave.

Nicola Sturgeon confirmed rules on table service and social distancing measures will no longer be required in Scots hospitality venues from Monday.
Non-professional indoor contact sports will also be allowed to resume from this date.
Nightclubs and large indoor events will also be able to restart normal programming next week.
