The Scottish Government has confirmed that 20 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours,
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 2,262 new cases had also been identified overnight.
It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 9,072.
There are currently 917 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 59 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 629,849.
To date 4,309,932 people have received their first vaccination with 3,897,133 having a second jab.
The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon gives an update on the current situation in Scotland at Scottish Parliament today.
The First Minister will address MSPs and discuss various topics including fears of rising cases amid COP26 and vaccine passports.
Health Secretary Humza Yousaf admitted the climate conference could create an increase "risk" of more coronavirus cases in Scotland.
Meanwhile, the use of the passport app has been causing significant issues over the first weekend of its launch.
