The Scottish Government has confirmed that 13 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The latest figures for Scotland showed that 3,052 new cases had also been identified overnight.
It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 9,388.
There are currently 780 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 59 being treated in intensive care.
The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 677,408.
To date 4,326,637 people have received their first vaccination with 3,924,305 having a second jab, and 1,151,883 having had a third booster jab.
The latest figures come after NHS bosses announced the new wing of a Scots health hub has been named after the first health sector worker in Scotland to die of Covid.
District nurse and health care support worker Janice Graham, 58, died in April 2020 in Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock.
Her family said they were “proud and honoured” to see a wing of Greenock Health and Care Centre named after the mother, grandmother and wife.
Janice’s son Craig, husband George and sister Margaret Robertson, joined former colleagues for a tour of the new wing.
Craig said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed with it all.”
